Far better quality (and much better UV resistance) than similar name cord from overseas (China - Hong Kong) suppliers for similar price.

This cord is extremely versatile. I use it all the time in the garden and around the house. It would be invaluable on camping trips. If you're fond of VB cord then you'll love Hootchie Cord. Similar characteristics to VB cord but gentler on the hands and doesn't have the 'memory' that VB cord displays when knots are only temporary. At this price, I've always got some in the cupboard.

I didnt know you get get hootchie coord outside the army. Its the strongest best quality small diameter cord you can buy so i was delighted to find it on this site and very happy with the discounted price as well.

Although quite an unorthodox use of Hootchie cord, using it to re-cord some mid-century patio chairs is working a treat. Knots hold well and the durabiliy means that the chairs can still be left outside.

took a punt hoping this was the heavy duty hootchi cord and not the cotton stuff you can buy in disposals stores.
Very happy it's the heavy duty stuff. Perfect for camping and I also use it in the garden for more heavy duty tying back and other purposes. Blends well with the foliage too. Dispatched same day very happy with the purchase.
Needed some strong UV resistant cord for portable antenna guys and had this suggested to me

I was needing a strong quality cord for a fishing and camping trip to Darwin. I contacted Rope Galore, (whom I have dealt with previously), and before I knew it the cord had arrived. It was used extensively on our trip and it is ready to go again for our trip to New Zealand, well done Rope Galore. You blow the other suppliers out of the water, Bruce, Tamworth NSW.
